THE EXHIBITION

Thematically, the exhibit is based on the twelve calendar months of the year.

Each month is represented by materials evocative of that date.

This is an invitation to a meditative journey through the span of a year that causes the viewer to reflect on the relationship between the materials used and between the natural world and our relationship with it through the design language of armchairs.

PROJECT'S
VISION

An interactive experiment that by juxtaposing and harmonizing natural and synthetic materials hopes to reveal the joy of discovery to the attendee.

We propse to achieve this through the use of one of the most mundane of objects - the chair. It’s our hope that by reimagining something so ubiquitous to our everyday lives, we are able to inspire participants to see the world around them in a new way and unleash their own creative energy.

The target audience is primarily youth and students but also anyone who loves art and has a sense of discovery.

We are a collective of like-minded artists from varied backgrounds and disciplines such as architecture, fine art, graphic design and floral design.

We believe that gaining a love of art and design in the everyday world around us will nurture a love and respect for humanity itself and we hope to pass on this sentiment to future generations.

We have hands on experience with many disciplines having worked on projects all around the world from architecture to film, in museums and galleries and large budget floral installations.
